Recruitment and Resourcing Administrator

In this role you will be working as a key member of the Recruitment team currently providing support to c3100 employees at 135+ sites across the UK. MKM is one of the fastest growing independent Builders Merchants in the UK. With its unique business model which sees Branch Directors part owning their branches, this results in a highly empowered culture with branches outperforming their competitors by some way. The business is growing rapidly with new branch openings planned each year.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Posting jobs / removing jobs on various job boards/ ATS.
  • Liaising with applicants and branch directors over the phone.
  • Providing support to branches to ensure roles get maximum exposure.
  • Proactively contacting applicants for roles.
  • Providing job descriptions to branch directors as required and discussing the requirements of their roles
  • Sending branch directors wording/ images for them to advertise on social media
  • Providing interview questions if required.
  • Putting job adverts together to meet the requirements of the role.
  • Extending the expiry dates of jobs advertised on all job boards etc
  • Obtaining relevant approval for advertising.
  • This role could also be a structured apprenticeship which will require some academic study.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Previous recruitment experience would be a distinct advantage, but not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both over the phone and face to face
  • Attention to detail and strong admin experience.
  • Computer literacy, including basic Excel
  • Have the ability and confidence to deal with people at all levels professionally
  • A desire to develop within the recruitment sector
  • Ability to work at pace with accuracy in a busy department
