Application Instructions

Surface Preparation

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of grease, rust, or loose material. Remove existing loose coatings and prepare the substrate with a suitable primer if required.

Application Conditions

• Apply when air and surface temperatures are between 5?C and 35?C.
• Ensure relative humidity is below 85%, and the substrate temperature is at least 3?C above the dew point to prevent condensation issues.

BrushRoller Application

• Thin up to 10% with Rust-Oleum Thinner 633.
• Use natural bristle brushes or short nap mohair rollers for best results.

Spray Application

• Thin up to 20% with Rust-Oleum Thinner 641.
• Use suitable airless or air-atomised spray equipment, maintaining proper fluid pressure and tip size.

Limitations Recommendations

• Not suitable for use on bare, unprimed metal?apply over a compatible Rust-Oleum primer for optimal performance.
• Avoid application in high humidity or below recommended temperatures, as drying and adhesion may be affected.

For enhanced corrosion resistance, use 7500 Alkythane in conjunction with Rust-Oleum anti-corrosive primers, such as 1080 High Build Zinc Phosphate Primer.
