We’ve Arrived in New Milton! 

We're pleased to welcome NMSB’s builders' merchant business into the MKM family, creating MKM New Milton. 

For customers, it's very much business as usual. The experienced local team you've come to know and trust are staying put, continuing to offer the same friendly service and expert advice they've built their reputation on over many years. 

What will change is what's available to customers. 

As MKM New Milton, the branch will benefit from investment, more stock and more products across building materials, timber, plumbing and heating, kitchens and bathrooms. That means more choice, more availability and even more reasons to make MKM New Milton your local merchant. 

The branch will continue to be led by Matt Lock and Richard Froggett, who have been part of the business for several years and share a clear vision for its future. 

 

 

For Matt, becoming part of MKM is the next step in a journey that's been years in the making. 

“The dream was always to build a one-stop builders’ merchant that could offer customers everything they need. Becoming part of MKM means we can finally make that happen. We’ll have the backing to invest in the branch, increase our stock and give customers a much bigger choice, while keeping everything that’s always made this business special." 

While the branch will benefit from greater investment and expanded product ranges, customers can expect the same familiar faces and local service that have made the business such a trusted part of the community. 

Richard is equally excited about what the future holds. 

“We’ve already got a fantastic team and loyal customers. Now we’ve got the opportunity to build on that by bringing in more products, more stock and more specialist ranges, so customers can get everything they need from one place." 

Investment is already being planned for the branch. Once complete, MKM New Milton will offer 12,500 square feet of warehouse, retail and trade counter space, alongside increased stockholding and an expanded range across building materials, timber, plumbing and heating, kitchens and bathrooms. 

As the business continues to grow, MKM also expects to create new jobs and careers in the local area.
