The KBB fire safety shut off valve is designed for use with oil burning equipment, such as oil boilers, and is installed in the oil supply outside of the property, providing fail-safe protection for household and commercial oil-burners. In the event of overheating, for whatever reason, the KBB valve shuts off the supply of oil to the appliance, thus preventing the danger of a runaway fire.
