The Siniat Aqua Board Plasterboard is the UKs first gypsum-based board specifically designed for high humidity or wet applications, making it an ideal tile backing board for bathrooms and suitable as an external sheathing board.

Product Features:

• Purpose-Built for Humidity: It adheres to BS EN 15283 Type GM-F, GM-H1, and GM-I standards, ensuring reliability and performance in wet conditions.
• Innovative Composition: The board is made of aerated calcium sulphate di-hydrate with non-woven tissue liners, fillers, and fibres enclosed inside a gypsum core. The core and papers are bonded with starch, while edge glue is PVA. It also includes a water-resistant additive (silicone oil) and a biocide to prevent mould growth.
• Fire Reaction Classification: Classified as Euroclass A2-s1, d0, demonstrating excellent fire resistance and minimal smoke production in fire conditions.
• Finishing Requirements: For jointing and finishing, the GTEC Aqua Mix jointing system is recommended. In wet areas, boards require priming with GTEC Drywall Sealer before decorating.
• Dimensions and Weight: The board measures 1200mm in length, 850mm in width, and 12.5mm in thickness, weighing 10.8 kg, making it a manageable and versatile option for various construction needs.
