The Reisser flooring screw with a yellow tropicalized finish has a fast start diamond point which gives an instant start and a pre-drill function, along with Reisser lubricant to reduce friction, this eliminates splitting. There is increased ductility with a min 30? bending angle bevause of the specially hardened steel, this is essential when fixing at an angle. Two different thread patterns make this screw ideal for flooring but it is also suitable for similar applications such as architraves, panelling etc. The thread under the head prevents movement, combined with the deep thread on the shaft to provide high pull out resistance into the joists which results in no board movement and no squeaks. The small head also prevents splitting and when flush will give a small clean fixing point which can be disguised for a secret fixing.
