The IRWIN Marples MS500 Series All-Purpose Chisels with ProTouch Handle feature a large metal striking cap that resists hammer impacts, prolongs handle life, and prevents mushrooming. A ProTouch handle provides an extra comfortable grip as well as reducing vibrations and hand fatigue. Adding strength and durability to the blade is achieved through one-piece forging. For faster and easier operation, it is made from special tool steel that ensures a much sharper cutting edge. A special hardening process gives the blade a longer-lasting edge - less time spent re-sharpening. Every chisel is honed and sharpened ready for use out of the packet - to save you time and effort.
