MKM Building Supplies Limited and subsidiaries 'MKM fantasy football league' Competition – Terms & Conditions

 

By joining the ‘MKM fantasy football league’ you accept and agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. Eligibility:

The competition is open to customers of MKM who are residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 and above.

Only one team per customer account will be eligible.

If you are a credit account holder, your account cannot be overdue at the point of claiming a completed stamp card. If overdue, MKM has the right to withhold any winning prizes until your account is paid in full.

MKM reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and may request such information it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose. The prize may be withheld unless or until the Promoter is satisfied with the verification.

Employees of MKM, their immediate family members, and anyone directly connected with the organization or administration of the fantasy football competition may not enter.

 

2. Competition Entry:

To participate, entrants must register for the fantasy football league using their real names and include their branch name within their team name.

Any entrant found to have provided false or misleading information during registration may be disqualified from the competition.

Registration for the competition is free and does not require any purchase or payment.

3. Competition Period:

The competition commences on 14/06/24 and closes on 14/07/24.

Entries submitted before or after the specified period will not be eligible.

 

4. Prizes:

The prizes will be awarded as follows:

1st Prize: £5,000 in branch credit at MKM.

2nd to 5th Prizes: £1,000 in branch credit each at MKM.

Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

All prize values are inclusive of VAT. Winners are solely responsible for any taxes or other fees associated with accepting the prize.

In case of a tie the prizes for those positions will be added together and split equally between the tying teams. Example; the top 2 teams finish on equal points, the first place prize and second place prize will be added together and divided equally between those 2.

 

5. Winner Selection and Notification:

Winners will be determined based on the points accumulated in the fantasy football league as per the scoring rules provided at the time of registration.

Winners will be notified via email within 7 days of the competition's conclusion.

If a winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

Prize will automatically be credited to MKM customers account once customer has confirmed details of their account.

 

6. Rights and Usage:

Participants grant MKM the right to use their names, photographs, and any competition entries for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

 

7. Data Protection and Privacy:

Personal data supplied during the course of this competition will only be processed as set out in MKM's Privacy Policy.

 

8. Limitation of Liability:

MKM will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participants' entry into the competition or their acceptance and use of the prizes.

 

9. Governing Law:

The competition and these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law.

By participating in the contest, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions in their entirety.

 

10. General:

MKM reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside MKM's control.

Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by MKM.

This competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
