The World’s Strongest Brothers and Scottish legends – Tom and Luke Stoltman – have officially opened our new branch in Inverness.

MKM Inverness, our 86th branch, conveniently located on 1.2-acre site on Harbour Road, has created 17 new jobs in the area and is the first brand new merchant branch to open its doors to the trade and general public in the town for over 15 years. To mark the occasion, Tom Stoltman - the recently crowned World’s Strongest Man, and his brother Luke, the five-time winner of Scotland’s Strongest Man, were our  guests for a special launch event on Monday 12^th July. Alongside officially unveiling the branch, Tom and Luke also held a meet and greet with local fans and even used our state-of-the-art kitchen showroom to showcase the breakfast that led to them becoming champions – a mighty 20 eggs! Luke Stoltman said: “As a local resident, it’s great to see independent businesses investing in Inverness and providing a service like this for local trades and the general public. “MKM is a first-class facility run by extremely knowledgeable and helpful people, so it’s really going to add value to the area.  Tom and I were delighted that we were asked to celebrate the official opening and have the chance to meet staff and customers alike.” The branch is headed up by Branch Directors Mark MacDonald and Graeme Macleod, who have worked together for over a decade and have a combined experience in the building and construction industry of over 50 years.
