MKM is proud to announce that we have purchased one of four ambulances for Ukraine organised by Beverley-based charity Jacob’s Well Appeal.

Jacob’s Well Appeal is currently helping to provide vital assistance and aid to the people of Ukraine.

Since 1982, Jacobs Well Appeal has been providing medical, agricultural, and educational aid to countries across the world, including Afghanistan, Western Africa, Pakistan, Moldova, Syria, Somaliland and Kenya. This includes planting fruit tree orchards and sending tractors to be used for seed bank projects which help support schools and communities.

Jacob’s Well Appeal also send aid during humanitarian crisis and disasters to many parts of the world, currently, they are providing aid to the Ukrainian people affected by war.

MKM was asked if they would like to help by purchasing one of four ambulances to help get vital medical assistance to the front lines. These German VW ambulances were purchased and are now on their way to Ukraine. Once they arrive, they will help with the transportation of wounded soldiers and civilians to hospitals where they can receive proper medical care.

 

 

John Beynon, CEO of Jacob’s Well Appeal says:

“The ambulances were purchased in Berlin, before being sent to Poland. Once they receive all the correct documentation they will cross the border into Ukraine.

The Bosch Service Repair shop will then fully service each ambulance so they’re ready to evacuate people from the front line. Each ambulance is fully equipped and prepared to save lives.
