MKM opens it's 124th branch in Boston, the new branch has created 18 local jobs and will mark the eighth MKM branch in the region.

Branch directors Adam Keal and Mark Pellow, both of whom have deep roots in the local community and extensive experience in the building industry, will lead the new Boston branch.

Branch director, Adam Keal, said: “I was born in Boston and have lived locally all my life. It’s a privilege to lead a business in my hometown. There’s real community spirit here and both Mark and I are determined that the new MKM Boston branch will be an extension of that. To locals, we want to be the ‘big yellow building down the road’ and our trade and non-trade customers can always expect us to be welcoming, helpful and provide the products and services they need.

“It’s important to us that we do more than just supply great products, and we will be actively upholding MKM’s well-known values to provide support to local projects and charities. We couldn’t be happier to be working alongside The Butterfly Hospice Trust as our chosen charity, a phenomenal organisation that provides 24-hour patient care to those in need of respite, symptom control or end of life care. In addition, we’ve just agreed to become a lead sponsor for Boston Utd.”

 

 

MKM Boston sits on a 15,00 sq ft plot and will supply tradespeople and the general public with a diverse range of building materials and services including timber sheet and joinery, 3D bathroom and kitchen design, landscaping products, renewables, brick matching, flooring, plumbing and heating and roofing and civils.

Branch Director Mark Pellow, who has over 35 years of industry experience, added: “The team here at MKM Boston has combined experience of over 200 years, and we’re incredibly proud of the specialisms we’ll be providing to customers, notably in plumbing and heating – where our man Dan Holland has over 12 years’ experience – and in other areas like renewables and roofing.

“If it’s inspiration you’re after, our kitchen and bathroom showroom is unlike anything you’ll find in any other builders’ merchants. Providing customers with an expansive showroom experience for creating mood boards and finding inspiration for their building projects.
