Palio by Karndean is a new type of luxury vinyl flooring with a patented click-locking system designed for quick and easy installation, whilst achieving an authentic and luxurious feel to your space in no time. An ideal solution to our changing home environment.

Flooring for multi-generational living

The way we use our homes is changing. Multi-generational living is on the rise, with adult children moving back into the family home or aging parents requiring additional care, and so we are increasingly keen to create more flexible layouts. Our love of light and airy open plan spaces has not diminished but we also want to provide different areas where people can either get together or be apart. Introducing a broken plan design with different floor levels, half walls or semi-permanent screening can offer the best of both worlds. For a busy family, practicality and durability are key to keeping a home looking great with minimal effort. When it comes to flooring, Palio by Karndean offers the look and texture of natural wood and stone but with all the benefits of luxury vinyl flooring.

Benefits of Palio by Karndean

Hard wearing enough to stand up to the demands of family life, Palio flooring is also comfortable underfoot and surprisingly quiet. Quick and easy to install without the need for a specialist fitter, a choice of click-locking or loose lay options are available to suit any room in the home. In a familiar click-locking format, the Palio Core range offers a practical alternative to laminate flooring. With its robust 6.5mm rigid core, for uneven sub-floors such as concrete, floorboards or tiles, there are eight beautiful wood and four realistic stone designs to choose from in the collection.

Adding some style

It’s then easy to add personality and highlight different zones with subtle variations to the flooring design. A split level or doorway is the ideal point to change between a wood and a stone design, or to change the direction of the planks or tiles. Unlike real wood, stone or laminate, Palio luxury vinyl flooring won't swell, crack or warp when wet and so you don’t have to worry about taking the same flooring into areas susceptible to splashes and spills such as kitchens and bathrooms. Conveniently, Palio Core also features enhanced acoustic protection to reduce noise transfer to rooms below by 19dB, allowing the flooring to continue into upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms for a seamless style throughout the house.
