WHAT IS PYROLYTIC CLEANING AND WHY SHOULD YOU USE IT?

Pyrolytic Cleaning is a very effective cleaning programme that allows you to simply wipe away dirt and ashes after the cleaning cycle is completed. The Pyrolytic Cleaning programme can be used anytime your oven needs a deep cleaning.

All AEG ovens with Pyrolytic Cleaning have built-in reminders letting you know when cleaning is required for continued optimal performance. The reminders can be enabled and disabled in the settings menu.

 

SAFETY FIRST

During the pyrolytic cleaning, the interior oven temperature reaches up to approx. 500°C, therefore, for safety reasons, the door is automatically locked. At the end of the cleaning program, the door lock is automatically released when the oven has cooled down.
