By using clamps, screws, and unions, a universal dry fix ridge kit provides a safe and efficient way to secure ridge tiles on a dual pitched roof without the need for sand cement mortar, while protecting the roof from wind uplift and rain penetration. This kit is compliant with BS8612 and provides continuous 5mm ventilation to the roof void at 5,000mm2/m, that's equivalent to a continuous 5mm gap. In addition to low- and high-profile tiles and slates, the system is compatible with most brands of round and angled ridge tiles. Each universal dry fix ridge kit contains all mechanical fixings required for a ridge run approximately 6 metres in length.
