Manthorpe Dual Extended Underfloor Ventilator - G965

To meet the current and future requirements outlined in Part L of the Building Regulations and other applicable standards, the depth of thermal insulation in suspended floors has increased. This has also resulted in wider cavities to accommodate greater amounts of cavity wall insulation. Consequently, accessing the underfloor void has become challenging, with potential distances of up to 6 or 7 brick courses (525mm) below an airbrick and up to 350mm from the outer face of the external leaf.

The G965 addresses this issue by providing a vertical telescopic adjustment range of 5 to 8 brick courses without the need for an extension sleeve. Additionally, its horizontal outlet is long enough to bridge an overall wall thickness of 350mm without requiring an additional extension.

For optimal performance, the G965 is designed to be used with a G930 Combination Airbrick. However, it can also be used with a traditional clay airbrick, although this may result in reduced overall airflow through the system.
