Hanson Hydraulic Lime 25kg Grey

Hanson hydraulic lime is used in lime-sand mortars for a wide range of applications, including jointing mortars, bedding tiles, renders, and plasters. When applied to most bricks, blocks and surfaces to be bedded, rendered or plastered, the mortar will have excellent workability and water retention. By combining natural hydraulic lime mortar with Portland cement based mortars, mixes can be prepared that complement the lower strengths of many natural stone and soft brick applications while improving plasticity. This product is also suitable to be used in the conservation process for national heritage and grade 2 listed buildings.
