Draintex by Growtivation is a standard duty, non-woven geotextile fabric offering excellent drainage and filtration properties. The stable yet open structure of Draintex makes it the ideal product to be used for lining trenches when creating land drains. Acting as a filter membrane, Draintex seperates aggregates from soil preventing mixture and improving the efficiency or capacity of the drain.
Draintex is also used for wrapping soakaway and water attenuation crates in both small domestic and large commercial projects. Again the high permeability of the fabric, means water can percolate through whilst preventing the soakaway becoming 'silted' up. Draintex can be used as ground stabilisation membane beneath MOT Type 1 or 3 aggregate or hardcore to form a stable base in many hard landscaping and civil engineering applications.
